Terms of The Service

we have tried to keep the language simple so that you can understand them easily. they are important as they cover the part, we are responsible for and the part you are responsible for.

1. Charges:

  • No job too small - Only ½ hour minimum! Our prices are simple, and we only charge Half hour rates Plus Half hour Travel for us, with No minimum Hours for all local moves.
  • We don’t charge extra upto 20 kms from central Melbourne (Return Travel time or fuel costs will be charged if its more than above mentioned distance).
  • After the 30mins. The Second Half Hour Starts (31mins to 60mins), and so on respectively. Your move charges are based on (total ½ hours) + (½ hour Travel Time for us) + (Any additional costs such as Return Travel Time for long distance Moves), Please Note: - For Large Trucks or more than two men Jobs we charge minimum of 4 hours.
  • All jobs are prepaid after 5:00 pm.
  • Additional $20 Per person, per hour charges apply on Sunday, Public Holiday and late hours work after 5:00 PM
  • Stairs - One Flight of Stairs: - upto 10 Steps free. $10 Per Person, Per Hour, Per Stair-Flight after.
  • Tolls- If you wish to use tolls, additional charges apply.
  • We collect payments before finishing the job. Should circumstances arise that you are unwilling or unable to pay any due charges, we reserve the right to hold all delivery or items of equivalent value until full payment is received. Where payment is not received within 28 days, we reserve the right to dispose of the Goods in lieu of payment.

2. Your Responsibilities

  • Parking:- We will park anywhere safe you ask us to do, except clearways. Any Parking-Fees we pay or fines we receive during your move will be added to your bill. It is always better to arrange parking permit where required.
  • To inform us about the Awkward/Bad access:- This can include: - narrow stair flights, no parking available, longor Steep walking distance from parked truck. We reserve the right to add costs due to unforeseen circumstances and we can also refuse to take items if it is not safe to do so.
  • Large and Heavy Items, Bad Access charges:- $250 for bad access, Balcony lifting or heavy lifting. We use specialize trolley for moving big items such as Piano, Pool Table, Marble Table, fish Tanks etc.
  • Please note: - If it’s not safe, we don’t move large and heavy items such as Pool table, Fridge, couch etc. from stairs or balcony.
  • Arrange a Specialist:- Our crew will not be insured and trained to remove Doors or Windows, Whitegoods Connections, Property fitments or fittings, and will be forced to leave the items unless you arrange something else such as plumber or electrician.
  • During the move:- You need to tell us about any fragile goods or any special precautions that you would like us to take. We will attempt to move all of your items as directed, however, we reserve the right to refuse to carry any item or items for any reason.

As we don’t take an itemised inventory during the move, we will act on your instructions at each location. You need to show us everything you need moved when we arrive at the pickup address. You must check that nothing extra is taken or items missed.Sometimes there is more stuff that we discussed during the booking, we will always try to fit it in for you, but we don’t always have time or space to do more than we were booked for. If that is the case, we will try to discuss alternative options to get it all done.

3. Exceptions

We will cover any physical damage caused by dropping, mishandling or inadequately securing of item by us, except in the following circumstances

  • Packing by customer:- If the Goods sustain damage due to defective or inadequate packing or unpacking by customer, we shall not be liable.
  • Damage to Goods- Inherent Risk:- All Glass items, Marble and Stones, Plants and Pots, Press-Wood Furniture which is designed to be flat packed such as IKEA or similar. We do not cover these items under our guarantee due to their inherent fragility.
  • Wear and Tear of Certain Goods:- Scratches on white goods including but not limit to Fridge, Washing Machine or Dryer, T.V without Box, Computer Equipment’s, Photocopiers, Scientific instruments, Musical Instruments not in hard cases, Leather items made of Bonded or Faux leather. Above all listed items are inherently susceptible to suffer damage or disorder while being moved. No matter how carefully they are handled. We will not be liable if they are not in their original packaging or appropriate box suitable for transport.
  • Dismantling and Re-assembly:- Part of removal services may require dismantling and re-assembling of certain goods. At your request we may do so but accept no responsibility for any damage or any loss resulting.
  • Moving goods under your instructions:- If we cause damage as a result of moving goods under your instructions, against our advice, we shall not be liable.
  • Helping us while moving items:- We don’t mind if you help us while Loading/Unloading. Please be careful with your back and No insurance applies if you are helping us. (Ref: - One Man and Truck jobs).

4. Insurance

  • We only supply Public Liability and Transit Insurance (Access apply). If you think your belongings are more valuable, then please arrange an itemised insurance cover for your move from your choice of insurer (Please check Insurance page for details).
  • We give customers full opportunity to ascertain the condition of the items once we finish the job. Once we leave the property of customer at the end of the job, we cannot accept responsibility for breakages reported afterword’s.

5. Photos and Videos

  • During the move the company or any of its authorized person can take photos or videos of their work or customer while sharing the reviews about the company. These photos/videos shall be the exclusive property of the company and customer cannot claim any right over it.
  • We (as company) can use the said photos/videos or customer reviews for the advertising and promoting the company by posting/sharing it on any website or on any social networking site or on any public platform. The customer cannot delete the said photos/videos, posts, or reviews.
  • The customer cannot get an injunction against the company or any of its authorized person from any court of law and cannot sue the company in any court of law to get the same deleted.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

By agreeing to undertake the removal services we incur costs in preparing for it and may also lose the opportunity to undertake further work that would use the same resources. This policy is to cover those losses:-

Less than 3 days:- We charge 1 Hour of Minimum + any additional cost preparing for your job.

Please Note:- Any Cancellations or Changes must be notified in writing.

7. Governance

The law, which governs this agreement, will be the law of the State of Victoria.
